Geetanjali Woollens have always stood by its vision and have accomplished its mission till date. The seeds that were sown by our founder and chairperson Mr. Surendra Goel have resulted in sweet fruits of determination. Wrapping up some of our achievements or milestones, here we go.


After 4 decades of successful years in business, and having honed such a unique and forward-thinking company, we felt it was about time that we developed a company look and feel that truly reflects our success, professionalism and standing in our sector. Geetanjali Woollens announced its new brand identity “Di Bella’s Blankets and Throws” in 2014.

Our business has grown and evolved over the last 4 decades, and we felt it was time for a change. We have launched a brand new logo to be used by our retail customers to reflect who & what we are today and to symbolize our dynamic future. This wasn’t a decision we made lightly. We are proud of our rich history. That’s why our new logo retains our core elements, including the sheep from which we derive wool and the green colour symbolizing our Eco-Friendly and sustainable products.

We are the proud winners of ICICI-CNBC Emerging India Awards 2008 under “Best Green Business” category for our role in Textile Recycling which was held in London, with its theme 'Think Global Go Global' India's biggest initiative for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector. The Emerging India Awards London- 2008 felicitation ceremony for the winning SMEs was held on July 8, 2008 in London where the Honourable Chief Guest Mr. L N Mittal, Chairman and CEO, Mittal Steel felicitated the winners. The award ceremony was graced by stalwarts like Rt. Hon John Hutton MP Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform and Mr. Kamalnath, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, who felicitated the winners. 'Emerging India Awards' recognized and rewarded India's most globally competitive SMEs whose business practices are at par with global giants. CNBC-TV18 'Emerging India Awards London 2008' provided a platform that enhanced our visibility in India's economic growth story.

Geetanjali Woollens has been a licensee of the Campaign for Wool since March 2013. The Campaign for Wool is a global endeavour initiated by its patron, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, in order to raise awareness amongst consumers about the unique, natural and sustainable benefits offered by wool. Encouraging collaboration between an international community of woolgrowers, major fashion designers, retailers, manufacturers, artisans and interior designers, the Campaign has been instrumental in educating consumers about the versatility of wool, and reconnecting them with its myriad uses – From luxurious fine merino knitwear to fire-retardant insulation for the home. Since its launch in 2010, The Campaign for Wool has influenced a new demand for wool on an international scale, and its efforts have seen an outstanding threefold increase in the price farmers receive for their wool.
